A neighborhood celebration (one of several in Anchorage) of the Ninth Day of Ridván, a special day among the twelve-day Festival of Ridván–the “King of Festivals”–remembering the momentous time in history when the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’llah, was preparing to depart from Baghdad as an exile. The significance of the events for the Bahá’ís and the entire human race will be described and celebrated. All are welcome to this family-friendly event.
