Faith in the Future Conference

This conference is for people of any age and all backgrounds interested in joining with others learning about constructive social change, beginning in our neighborhoods. Bahá’ís believe in a future society that is just, peaceful and prosperous and believes every person has a role to play in building it. And faith plays a part! Bahá’ís and friends are working together to explore how spiritual principles can be applied to help satisfy individual needs and address the complex challenges facing humanity today. And youth are at the forefront. We have faith in young people! Efforts are in place throughout Alaska—modest but growing—for children, youth and adults to contribute to this learning process.
This family-friendly conference will allow participants to discuss, sing, create, play, pray, and eat together exploring these ideas. Special activities for children (ages 5-11) and junior youth (ages 12-14) are arranged. Lunches will be served both days and dinner on Saturday.
Conference will take place Saturday, March 29th Noon-7:00pm and Sunday, March 30th Noon-4:00pm. Please register here if you plan to attend.
A Game Night social will take place Friday, March 28th 6-9pm – no registration necessary.
The conference is free but donations to help defray costs are welcome (from Bahá’ís only) and contributions of soup or assistance with children’s activities or other things are welcome from anyone!
