Anchorage Unit Convention and Delegate Election

The Unit Convention is (only) open to enrolled Bahá’ís in the Anchorage area (Unit 3). Gatherings to learn about and explore the Bahá’í elections are open to all and will take place December 12th and January 19th at the Anchorage Bahá’í Center.
The Unit Convention will include the election of delegates to the Alaska Bahá’í National Convention (to take place in the spring) as well as consultation on the current status and goals of the Bahá’í community and any other subject community members wish to bring forward. Light breakfast at 9:00 and lunch will be provided on site. Childcare available. Estimated end time is 3:00 but actual end time will be at the successful conclusion of the election, consultation and presentations or celebrations.
The Local Spiritual Assembly invites all to consider the sacredness of our beloved administrative order and participate fully in this vital element of the Bahá’í electoral process.
